This week on Glad Tidings we shared something new for the community.

We’ve launched the Climate Prize Draw, a simple way to help clean up the atmosphere with the chance to win £10,000 along the way.

Glad has always worked in seasons. They gave us a clear moment to pause, reflect and celebrate what we achieved. But we’ve changed how they work. Seasons are no longer time based. They’re now tied to impact. Season four ends when we collectively fund 250,000 kilograms of cleanup. When we reach that point, the prize unlocks.

If you’re a Glad member, you’re already in. Your monthly contribution gives you automatic entries. We’ll send an email showing exactly how many you have. There’s nothing extra you need to do.

We’ve also opened things up so anyone can enter. Entry bundles start from £6 for 20 entries. It’s a simple one off purchase for anyone who wants a shot at the £10,000 prize and a way to support real climate cleanup.

Here’s how the model works. Glad splits every pound 60:20:20.

60 percent goes straight to climate cleanup.

20 percent goes to the prize pot.

20 percent covers our costs and helps us grow the movement.

Season 4 needs a Climate Pot of £50,000 to reach the 250,000 kilogram target. That means £30,000 going to verified cleanup, £10,000 to the prize pot and £10,000 to keep the wheels turning.

As more people join in, the pot grows and the impact grows with it. Bigger seasons. Bigger prize pots. More cleanup. That’s the flywheel we’re building.
